CMS for Umraniye businesses

Someone shopping for a machine is not shopping for a machine. Which family, which distinction, which job it will do — that is the question, and the vocabulary for it is learned standing next to the machine. On a general classifieds site that vocabulary only begins at the lowest sub-heading, and every rung above it is walked past. Around Umraniye's Dudullu estate small manufacturers and service firms work off the same street, so that vocabulary is ordinary speech. Plastik ve Makina builds the category tree out of it.

CMS — Umraniye

Workshops, mechanical contractors and service firms sit close together in Umraniye, and buying or selling a machine happens inside that same fabric. A buyer describes what they want by its distinctions rather than a product name, while on a general site the seller can only put those distinctions into a free-text box, where they stop being filterable the moment they are typed. The work closest to this district's profile is Plastik ve Makina. Where it does not reach, stated plainly: it was written for people buying and selling plastics processing machinery, and we have nothing to show for contracting agreements, maintenance records or work orders. Laravel runs it with an Inertia interface and Tailwind; MySQL holds the records and Redis the cache. We keep no office here and nobody travels out.

  • The whole category tree is built from one machine family's distinctions, so a distinction that falls to the bottom of a general site becomes the main axis here.
  • Because the distinction lives in the tree, a seller fills named fields instead of writing a paragraph, and a buyer filters on those same fields with no guesswork in between.
  • The scope stops at the listing catalogue: contracting agreements, maintenance records and manufacturing work orders fall outside it.

Why Algoriel

  • Print becomes editable

Çatalca Merkez Kasap moved a printed menu to a QR page, so a price change is an edit rather than a reprint.

  • Content gets an address

Each menu section carries its own address, so a customer can link straight to the section they came for.

  • The institution authors

Teachers on Vipkurum write their own lessons, tests and exams, so publishing does not wait on a developer.

  • Fixed code, editable page

QRVizit fixes the printed address once; the page behind it stays editable. We are still building it.

What we build

CMS
  • Content modelling

Which content types exist, and which fields each one carries, follows your own publishing work. At Vipkurum the assessment type is not hard-coded, so European and Turkish standards sit side by side on the same foundation.

  • The editorial interface

The person writing and the visitor reading see the same information, with no second copy waiting to be synchronised. Keeping the admin panel and the published side in one application means the content is not held in two places.

  • Addresses and links

Every page and every section carries a permanent address of its own, so a shared link always opens the same place. At Çatalca Merkez Kasap the menu is split into sections, and codes on different tables land on different points of the same page.

  • Access and permissions

Who sees what, and who may change it, is defined together with the content type. At Vipkurum a teacher, a student, a parent and an administrator read the same lesson programme at their own level of permission.

  • An update is not a reprint

When a price, a phone number or an address changes, the printed material stays as it is and the page is updated instead. Çatalca Merkez Kasap keeps its menu as text, so a price change never reaches the printer.

  • Repeat reads

When the same page is opened again and again, it is served from a ready copy rather than rebuilt each time. QRVizit, still under development, opens a repeatedly scanned card that way.

CMS · Case study

Plastik ve Makina — the category tree is one machine family's own distinctions

A sector-specific listing platform for people buying and selling plastics processing machinery. What carries the distinctions is not a search box but the category tree itself: the whole tree is built on one machine family's divisions, so what a general classifieds site buries as a lowest-level sub-heading becomes the main axis here. The practical effect shows on the seller's side — instead of describing a machine in a paragraph, they fill named fields, and the buyer filters on those same fields. MySQL holds the listing records, Redis takes the caching layer, and Tailwind shapes the list and detail interfaces.

Working with Umraniye teams, remotely

We have no office, so work for this city runs remotely and we do not offer on-site support. What was done, and why it was done that way, stays in writing. The project pages mark which builds came out of a partnership.

  • The first release ships as a working piece; extras follow later.
  • Every client we know of is in Turkey.
  • Decisions stay in writing; progress shows in working screens.

Frequently asked

  • We already have a category on a general industrial classifieds site. What is different here?

On a general site your distinction is the lowest sub-heading, and every rung above it belongs to somebody else's vocabulary. Here the tree is built from one machine family's divisions from the top, so a buyer starts where they already are.

  • Does posting a listing mean writing a long description every time?

No, the opposite is the aim. Because the distinctions live in the category tree, a machine's properties go into named fields. A property written into free text cannot be searched; a property written into a field can.

  • We are a mechanical contractor and do not sell machines. What does this work say to us?

Not something about the sector, but about how a catalogue is built: the distinctions that describe a product belong in the tree and in fields, not in a description paragraph. On contracting agreements, maintenance records and work orders we have nothing to show, so we promise nothing there.

  • Do you have an office in Umraniye, and do you visit the industrial estate?

No office and no site visits — we work fully remotely. Rather than come and look, we write down together which distinction becomes a category and which becomes a field.
