Vipkurum optical mark reading — each point reads its own sheets, none travel
In Vipkurum's optical mark tool the answer sheet stops belonging to whichever room holds the reader hardware. Marks are extracted from the image of the form with OpenCV, so the image analysis layer of the software does the reading. What that buys is local autonomy: a point runs its own assessment, sheets are never packed and shipped to a central desk, and no result waits for a slot on the head office calendar. Forms are uploaded through the browser, the Python reading service is called over Node.js, and Laravel writes the outcome into MySQL. The tool's context is exam marking; shelf and storefront imagery falls outside it.
