ERP for Kadikoy businesses

Kadikoy's Bahariye line runs on small retail and consulting rooms that work by appointment. Where a price is not read off a shelf, a measurement or an assessment happens in one room and the figure gets written at the front desk, and that step between two rooms is crossed by hand every time. That gap, rather than a missing module, is what ERP software in Kadikoy, Istanbul has to close. Calculator Resterm removes the step: what the calculation returns becomes the quote line itself.

ERP — Kadikoy

In Kadikoy, clinics, studios and small shops sit side by side. Where what you sell is not held in a list in advance, the price comes out of an assessment that lives in one record while the quote lives in another table, linked only by somebody's memory. The work closest to this district's sector profile is Calculator Resterm. Where it does not overlap: written for a maker of electric heaters, it has nothing to show for a treatment plan or a class schedule. What carries is how the chain is built: selection into a basket, basket onto a project, project to its customer. The limit is stated: production scheduling, supply chain, human resources and consolidated finance stay outside. The process runs on Laravel, Vue draws the calculation screen, and MySQL keeps the records.

  • No hand-carried step sits between the technical selection and the commercial line, because what the calculation returns becomes the quote row itself.
  • Asking where a figure came from is not an archive hunt: the input behind a line stays in the same chain and can be read backwards.
  • A basket does not stand alone. It attaches to a project and the project to its own customer, so the calculation, the quote and the buyer are read off one chain.

Why Algoriel

  • Work order through to invoice

In AlgoCar information is entered once and carried on the same record from the work order to the invoice.

  • Stock moves next to the job

Parts leave stock against a work order, so nobody hunts for where a part went at month end.

  • The calculation becomes the quote

Resterm sizes a unit with an engineering calculation, and the result drops into the cart and the project record.

  • Where the scope stops

Operations, stock and accounting are in scope. Production planning, supply chain, consolidated finance and HR are not.

What we build

ERP
  • Work order, part and invoice on one chain

At AlgoCar a work order opens, the part consumed is written to it, and the invoice comes from that same record. The chain never splits across three programs.

  • The same movement is never typed twice

A part leaves stock the moment it is written to the work order. No warehouse screen sits waiting for the same consumption to be keyed in again.

  • Cost and revenue in one system

The trading and accounting side runs in the same system as the service record, so the two faces of a job are not reconciled after the fact.

  • Spend that accumulates on the asset

At AlgoCar servicing and repair build up under the plate and chassis record, so what a vehicle has cost in total is read from its own file.

  • Where a quote line came from

At Resterm you can trace a quote line back to the heating requirement that produced it.

  • From calculation to basket to project

The product the engineering calculation selects drops into the basket, the basket attaches to a project, and the project to its customer. The records stay on one chain.

Calculator Resterm — what the calculation returns becomes the quote line

Resterm manufactures electric heaters. The software picks the heater that suits a stated heating requirement; the gap it closes comes after that choice: the chosen heater drops into a basket, the basket onto a project, and the project to its customer. Nothing is carried by hand between the technical selection and the commercial line: the quote row is the output of the calculation. A quote reads back to the requirement behind it, because the records sit in one MySQL chain. We built it on the manufacturer's own product structure, with Laravel running the process and Vue drawing the calculation screen.

Working with Kadikoy teams, remotely

We have no office, so work for this city runs remotely and we do not offer on-site support. What was done, and why it was done that way, stays in writing. The project pages mark which builds came out of a partnership.

  • The first release ships as a working piece; extras follow later.
  • Every client we know of is in Turkey.
  • Decisions stay in writing; progress shows in working screens.

Frequently asked

  • Our price comes out of a measurement and will not fit a fixed list. How does software carry that?

What carries it is a chain, not a list. At Resterm the result of the calculation goes straight into the basket, the basket onto a project, the project to its customer, and the quote row is written as the output of the calculation. Change the input and the same chain returns a different result.

  • Resterm makes heaters. What does that say to a business in Kadikoy that works by appointment?

That it is heaters, and we do not hide it: a clinic's or a studio's workings are not something we have work to show for. What overlaps is the way the output of an assessment turns into a commercial line. The name of the assessment changes; the removal of the hand-carried step does not.

  • We already prepare quotes in a spreadsheet. What is wrong with that?

A sheet keeps the result but not where the result came from. Type one figure once into the calculation and again into the quote and the two can drift, usually noticed after the work has started. With a single chain the input behind a line stays inside the record.

  • You say ERP. Is payroll or consolidated finance in there?

No. The link we describe sits between the technical selection and the commercial line, with operations and stock alongside it. Human resources, consolidated finance, the supply chain and production scheduling are areas we cannot show, so we do not promise them. We keep no office either; the work runs remotely throughout.
